*WAT* : 

9 words given arranged in a 3×3 matrix. Select 3 words from any row, column or diagonal and write an essay in 120-150 words.

Cue words I chose: Intuition-Education-Equality

 

*GE*: 

Group of 8. A problem statement will be given along with 4 industries to select one from and 4 tools to select 2 from to solve that problem in the industry of our choice. 2mins to think and decide individually. 45sec per person to speak out the choice made by him/her. 8mins discussion time to arrive upon 1 mutually agreed upon industry and 2 mutually agreed upon tools to solve the problem stated in that industry. 2mins to present the solution.

Problem: Overconsumption

Industry choices: eCommerce, Food and Beverages, Internet and Data, Banking and Finance

Tools: Government policies, taxation, Corporate social Responsibility, Forecasting

 

*PI*:

1 male colonel, 1 Female professor.

 

Female prof:

1. What sport do you play?

2. Why do you want to pursue an MBA after BTech  in Mechanical engineering?

3. What do you consider as your academic achievements?

4. Having been the vice captain of a formula Student team, you must have come across conflicts in the team. How did you resolve them and tell us about one.

 

Colonel:

1. Asked about the books I’ve read recently and if I’ve finished the trilogy by Yuval Noah Harari(since I had mentioned reading as one of my hobbies).

2. Situation based question. “You have 20mins to reach an interview and you’re commuting via your car. One of the tires goes flat and while you’re unmounting the nuts, all four fall into a drain. You have a stepney in your car but no nuts to bolt it on.” How will you proceed?

3. Tell me about an ethical dilemma you’ve been in.

4. “Ethics in business is just lip service since the ethical standards keep changing with time.” What’s your take on this?

WAT, GE and PI were carried out on the same day in a stretch of 4 hours in the same order. Zoom breakout rooms were made for every task separately to which the candidate was directed as scheduled.
