What is the Eligibility for IPMAT Examinations?

To be eligible for the IPMAT examination, candidates must have completed their Class XII/Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent qualification in the two years preceding the examination year, or be appearing for the qualifying examination in the same year as the IPMAT. Accordingly, for IPMAT 2026, candidates must have completed their Class XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2022 or 2025, or be appearing for the same in 2026.

Additionally, candidates should not be more than 25 years of age at the time of the examination.

It is important to note that the percentage of marks obtained in both Class X and Class XII will be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects listed on the mark sheet or grade sheet, regardless of the specific regulations of the respective education board. In instances where candidates have been awarded letter grades or grade points in lieu of numerical marks, the conversion to a percentage must be carried out in accordance with the procedure certified by the respective board or competent authority that issued the certificate.

Furthermore, candidates who have completed or are pursuing their Class X and/or XII education from international schools affiliated with foreign boards such as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply.

When are the IPMAT & BBA Exams Conducted?

The IPMAT and BBA examinations like the SET, NPAT and IPU-CET are all conducted after the 12th CBSE board examinations. What is included in online IPMAT test preparation?

The program provides comprehensive printed study materials and mock tests for both IPMAT and BBA examinations. Students can access practice questions, sectional tests, and full-length mock tests through the online portal. GradSquare supports students throughout the application process, and once they are shortlisted for the interview stage, the mentors provide specialized training for Personal Interviews and Written Ability Test (WAT) for IIM interviews. This comprehensive program is designed for students seeking long-term, in-depth preparation.

What is the duration of the online IPMAT classes?

We offer a two-year program for 11th-grade students and a one-year program for 12th-grade students. Our instructors start the online classes with fundamental lessons and gradually progress to test-taking practice. We pause classes during the board examinations. After the IIMs release the shortlist, we begin Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (WAT) preparation classes.

Are the online IPMAT classes enough for the BBA exams too?

Yes, the online IPMAT classes are sufficient for BBA exams like SET, NPAT, Christ University Entrance Test, IPU-CET, and UGMAT. The classes cover the syllabus for CUET Paper-I and Paper-III as well. The syllabus for all these exams includes Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. We will provide GK materials to students preparing for BBA exams and conduct a few GK classes to keep students updated on current world affairs. No classes will be held for static GK.

Are the IPMAT examinations conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak different?

IIM Indore conducts the IPMAT Indore examination, and its score is considered for admission to IPM programs at IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, IIM Sirmaur, IIFT Kakinada, and NALSAR Hyderabad, along with private institutions like TAPMI Bangalore and NIRMA University Ahmedabad. IIM Rohtak conducts its own separate IPMAT examination for the IPM program at IIM Rohtak.
