The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based exam used for admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and several other top business schools in India, including XLRI, FMS, and SP Jain. Renowned for its unpredictable difficulty level and changing pattern, the CAT is as much a test of adaptability and strategy as it is of knowledge. Each section of the exam is time-bound, requiring candidates to manage their time effectively across the paper to maximize scores.

The exam consists of three sections: Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR).
