Eligibility for SIBM Nagpur MBA Food & Agri-Business Admission 2026

Degree: A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline.
Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate; relaxed to 45% for SC/ST candidates.
Entrance test: A valid SNAP score (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is required — the accepted exam.
Final-year students: Eligible to apply, subject to meeting the minimum marks on completion.
Application: Register for SNAP, then apply to SIBM Nagpur's MBA-FABM programme separately.

Fees

The MBA-FABM total fee is around ₹15.17 lakh for the two years (other-state candidates); Nagpur-domicile candidates receive a concession. Confirm current figures and hostel charges from the official prospectus.

SIBM Nagpur MBA-FABM admission is SNAP-based and runs on these stages:

Stage 1 — SNAP shortlisting: A valid SNAP percentile is the entry filter; candidates select SIBM Nagpur during registration.
Stage 2 — Group Exercise (GE) & Written Ability Test (WAT): Assesses reasoning, teamwork and communication.
Stage 3 — Personal Interaction (PI): The most heavily weighted round in the final merit.

How the final merit is weighted

Final selection for the 2026-28 batch combines SNAP score (50 marks), Personal Interaction (40 marks) and Group Exercise (10 marks). Note the heavy PI weightage — the interview matters as much as the entrance score here.

Figures are SIBM Nagpur's MBA-FABM-specific numbers. For reference, the flagship MBA recorded a higher highest CTC (₹24.90 LPA in 2025, ₹28.83 LPA in the 2026 interim) and an average of ₹12.33 LPA, reflecting its broader corporate roles. FABM placements concentrate in food, agri-business and FMCG.

A two-year, full-time MBA in Food & Agri-Business Management blending a Symbiosis management core — marketing, finance, operations, HR, strategy — with specialised food-and-agri subjects such as agri supply-chain management, food processing and value addition, commodity markets, agri-input marketing and rural markets.

Located in Nagpur — a growing industrial and logistics hub in central India — the programme combines the Symbiosis brand and pedagogy with sector-focused electives, industry projects and summer internships, positioning graduates for roles across the food and agri-business value chain.

As someone who was entirely new to this entire process, I was fortunate to have had such wonderful mentors at Gradsquare who guided me through each and every step of the way. Mentors at Gradsquare helped me identify my weaknesses and helped me find my own strategy that was best suited for my strengths. What stood out for me was Gradsquare's approach which was different from the conventional approach of other coaching centres of using long hours to conduct classes, which in my opinion really doesn't help much, however they never hesitated to take long hours to clear our doubts which according to me was the key instrument in helping me succeed.
